Born in England, raised in New England and subsequently settling in the South, Julie's background has strongly influenced her eclectic taste in literature, art and life experiences. A passionate advocate for nature and wildlife, she began college as a zoology major but ultimately graduated with a business degree in paralegal studies. Her career has run the gambit from law to network administration to marketing and back to law.
Julie's fervent desire to “save the animals” feeds her writing and is the foundation for the ZEBRA series. Her home in the North Georgia mountains provides an environment that infuses creative energy and naturally evokes the ambiance found in her novels. In order to provide for the horde of dogs, cats, fish and any other critters that seek shelter on her land, Julie currently works as a senior paralegal for Edwards & Associates in Atlanta, Georgia.
